Marleen is having a baby again,
it's been two years since the last
who played a leading role
but later got a walk-on part;
She used a month or four
to help the baby on its way,
But business takes its toll,
so babies have to manage on their own.

the first one that she got?
She comes home very seldom,

when her mother is around.

the baby learned quite quickly
that to get her message through
she couldn't use no baby talk,
no, that comes nowhere near;
So now, at 18 months,
she speaks to mother as a peer.

Marleen must meet her deadlines,
and she meets them with such power -
She hopes her new child can be born
within the lunch break hour...
She hopes the second birth will be
as rapid as the first;
But wishes that the hospital
was closer to her work.
